Composite Regional Center (CRC) Jaipur
- Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC), Jaipur (Rajasthan) is a state-level resource centre dedicated to the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. It functions under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, and operates under the administrative control of PDUNIPPD, New Delhi.
- CRC Jaipur has been operational since April 2024. The formal inauguration of services at the temporary premises and the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building took place on 15th January 2025. The event was graced by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Hon’ble Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, along with the esteemed presence of Sh. Avinash Gehlot, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Rajasthan; Mr. Kuldeep Ranka, Additional Chief Secretary, Rajasthan; Mr. H. Guite, Commissioner, Department of Specially Abled Persons; Sh. Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, DEPwD, Government of India; and Sh. Jitendra Sharma, Director, PDUNIPPD.
- The Government of Rajasthan has allocated 2.47 acres of land at Samajik Nyay Sankul, near ICFAI University, Jamdoli, Jaipur for the construction of CRC Jaipur’s new building. Currently, CRC Jaipur is operating from a rent-free temporary building on the same campus, provided by the state government.
- The preliminary estimate for the new building project stands at Rs. 29.97 crore. Construction will be undertaken by NBCC. The estimated budget and draft design have been submitted to the competent authority for further processing.

CRC Jaipur offers two long-term training programs approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI):
- Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation (DISLI)
- Certificate Program in Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID)
Additionally, various short-term training programs (AGP/PTP/CREs, etc.) are conducted to raise public awareness on disability management.
- In the 2024–25 session, CRC Jaipur has provided services to 13,052 beneficiaries and distributed 11,603 aids and appliances to persons with disabilities (Divyangjan), facilitating ease of life and promoting the realization of their rights.
- Presently CRC Jaipur is providing Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, Language Therapy, Hearing Screening & Diagnosis, Speech Therapy, Academic Screening & Analysis, Prosthesis & Orthotic support, Indian Sign Language Interpretation & Training, Aids & Appliances for Divyangjan and Senior Citizens.
- CRC Jaipur is actively collaborating with NGOs and institutions, offering technical support and organizing faculty development programs. Currently, more than 50 NGOs, institutions, and universities are part of our expanding network.

We have initiated internship programs to provide hands-on exposure in both centre-based and community-based rehabilitation setups. Presently, the centre hosts:
- 09 Bachelor of Occupational Therapy interns from Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Science and Technology, Jaipur
- 02 Bachelor of Physiotherapy students from PDUNIPPD, New Delhi
- 05 Interns from ISLRTC, New Delhi
- Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) programs are conducted regularly to enhance the knowledge and skills of rehabilitation professionals working in the disability sector. Total 23 CRE programs during the Session 2024–25 and 07 programs during the current Session 2025–26 have been conducted. Total 37 more CRE programs are scheduled during the current session.
